HDR enhanced picture quality
Compatible with HDR10 and HLG, the TH685 makes the most of HDR. HDR enhances the brightest and darkest sections of scenes – letting you see detail in what was previously a solid block of colour. It also makes the rest of the colour spectrum appear more natural, giving an even greater sense of ‘being there’.

Amazing colour, with 95% Rec.709 compliance
Colour precision, resolution, frame rate and display specifications are all guaranteed by meeting one of the highest HD video standards seen in professional-grade home cinema today: Rec. 709. Instigated by the ITU (International Telecommunication Union), 95% Rec.709 approval means a true cinema-like appearance.

Featuring twin HDMI sockets, both of which are HDCP2.2 compatible, the TH685 is perfect for connecting a UHD Blu-ray player or TV set-top box, as well as your games console. For an easy upgrade in sound quality, it’s also fitted with a 3.5mm audio output – simply connect to your soundbar, speaker or hi-fi system for a boost in sound. For older PCs and consoles, you’ll also find a VGA PC input.

USB power to drive smart accessories
Featuring a handy USB power output, the TH685 drives your USB-powered smart device, such as the Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV or Roku stick. Plug Chromecast, or similar, in and you’ve got easy access to smart video and TV services without the need for any other device or lengthy connection cables.
