Polk Audio DSW PRO 660 wi - an audiophile-grade powered subwoofer for home theatre systems. Sporting a patented Dynamic Balance 12" high-excursion driver, the subwoofer is driven by a high-damping 500 W class D amplifier. This powered subwoofer uses Polk Audio's exclusive Feed Forward™ technology that reduces audible distortion without limiting volume. The result is a powerful bass response across the entire frequency range, even at room-shaking volume levels.

The Polk Audio DSW PRO 660 wi also integrates the Polk Room Optimizer™ - a unique feature that lets you specify the location of your subwoofer from four options — corner, mid-wall, in-cabinet, or mid-room — to optimize and automatically equalize the frequency response for smooth and powerful bass output. The subwoofer's special night mode dynamic range compression allows you to enjoy good quality bass without disturbing other family members at night. Interestingly, the removable feet lets you use PRO 660wi in either front-firing or down-firing mode, based on your preference. Sporting a rock-solid MDF enclosure construction with optimized bass-reflex ports, the subwoofer delivers powerful bass response from a large subwoofer that still keeps a low profile.

Innovative Polk Room Optimizer for position-based equalisation

The subwoofer's remote control incorporates the Polk Room Optimizer (PRO) feature, four push-button room equalization presets that correct for room boundary effects for typical room placements: “Cabinet,” “Corner,” “Mid-Wall” and “Mid-Room.” No matter where you place your DSW PRO Series Sub, you’re assured great bass performance.

Adjustable Low-Pass Crossover, Phase Switch and Subwoofer Volume Control to more easily control your bass output and the sub’s blending characteristics with your front stage speakers. Signal-Sensing “Smart Amp” Auto ON/OFF Circuitry “knows” when to turn itself on and off. It also features a credit card-sized remote control to adjust volume, phase (0°, 90°, 180° & 270°), Mute and select the PRO presets.
