At its heart, the NR1200 features a newly designed high-current 75 watt per channel amplification section which is capable of driving any loudspeaker with ease. The circuit design features separate, symmetrical left and right power amplifiers sharing a centralised power supply with independent windings for each critical function. This means the power transformer is wired independently from the circuits of the amplifier, preamplifier, wireless module and front display, which improves channel separation, reduces crosstalk and preserves the musical soundstage and detailed clarity that enthusiasts expect. Additionally, the stereo receiver features two separate DACs per channel, increasing the dynamic range and improving signal to noise ratio, which delivers clearer sound from sources with very low signal resolution.
