Advanced ANC takes a new approach, suppressing ambient noise without applying any processing to the music signal. Using internal microphones and a new, unique algorithm from Yamaha, the headphones separate signal processing of background noise and music. The headphones analyze the noise collected by the internal microphones and calculate what should be removed from the playback music signal, so that only noise is erased. This means no unnecessary processing of the music signal, preserving the purity of the music.
