The Marantz PM14S1SE Amplifier is the newest addition to the Marantz impressive range. It has been fine-tuned by Marantz to raise the level of audio reproduction to staggering new heights, and has been optimised for the reproduction of high-resolution files. A heavy, 5mm thick top plate and highly rigid feet have been used to minimise vibration. The cleanest power is generated by the PM14S1SE's oversized Toroidal transformer, eliminating component cross-contamination. Additional improved, customised components have been integrated into this new model, including the Marantz developed HDAMs and the use of a more efficient electrical signal path. These new additions help to elevate audio quality to a sublime level. Solid copper speaker terminals designed and constructed by Marantz add the final elegant touch to the Marantz PM14S1SE, as well as ensuring a powerful, effortless signal to your loudspeakers.
 
As opposed to an integrated circuit, discrete circuit components included in the Marantz PM14S1SE Amplifier, including the exclusive HDAM technology, work to preserve analogue signal purity and deliver wide band audio with an expansive dynamic range with an inaudible noise floor. 24 HDAM SA2 and SA3 units are used in the phono, line level, headphone output, pre-amp and power amp stages.
 
In order to become compatible with the widest range of speaker impedances, the Marantz PM14S1SE Amplifier's power amplifier stages feature high current power output devices. For maximum channel separation, each amplifier stage features a segregated circuitry and individual massive extruded aluminium alloy heat sinks with a large effective radiating area, providing fanless and noiseless heat dissipation. Rated at 90 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 140 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the Marantz PM14S1SE Amplifier assures high stability and wide dynamic range, even with the lowest impedance speakers.
