DESCRIPTION

The 2Xperience series of turntables was a hit among critical listeners in search of audiophile implementations at a real-world price. It’s our pleasure to reacquaint you with this design via our limited edition 2Xperience SB SE.

Three TPE-damped aluminum spike-feet allow for isolation and easy leveling of the entire turntable for excellent tracking and vibration resistance. These custom feet support a high-mass, top-quality MDF plinth that works wonders in terms of absorbing unwanted resonance.

A unique belt-driven platter is precision CNC-machined from MDF, perfectly balanced then topped with thick coating of recycled vinyl for optimal record coupling to the platter. To further enhance the coupling effect, a screw-down record clamp is included.

The system’s AC motor is driven by Pro-Ject’s custom “Speed Box“ DC-to-AC converter which offers simple selection between 33 & 45rpm speeds while internally generating the perfect AC voltage required for speed stability.

Pro-Ject’s innovative 9cc tonearm uses best-in-class ABEC 7 inverted bearings, a low-slung counterweight, and our signature one-piece carbon fiber arm tube for vanishingly low internal resonance.

Stylus tracking is impeccable, delivering impressive clarity & nuance with captivating weight & ‘slam.’

Ortofon’s 2M Silver MM phono cartridge is installed and aligned at the factory. This custom design offers improved sense of speed in vinyl reproduction over the standard 2M series, thanks to its silver-plated high purity copper coils.

A hinged dust cover and Pro-Ject’s Connect it E semi-balanced, low-impedance RCA/ground phono interconnects with gold-plated connectors are also included.

2Xperience SB SE is finished in a gorgeous, glossy, real-mahogany veneer. The highest-quality materials are implemented throughout the turntable. The parts are machined & assembled in-house by Pro-Ject in Europe, enabling 2Xperience SB SE to pack a punch you won’t find elsewhere for your dollar.
